Cheap 4K tv

Hey I’ve got a dumb question, probably. I’m moving into an apartment soon and money is tight. I want to get a 4K tv but I can’t really afford anything over 300. What would be better a 1080 tv or a 4K tv without HDR? I have an Xbox one S so I can output 4K video.

If you actually have enough 4K media/sources, then grabbing something cheap might be fine. You can probably get around a ~43" for about $300 US.

There isn't really much HDR content, so I wouldn't worry about HDR on a TV. Make sure it's not a completely shit unit; some cheap TVs have awful color, and aren't worth anything TBH.

The 49" is a much better deal, and about as small as I'd want to go for a TV.

Thanks guys I think I’m getting the 43 inch one. I’ll be getting it from target though it’s only 20 bucks more and I can get it today. Also my neighbor isn’t the safest when it comes to mail delivery.

No HDR but a good screen size and reputable brand.  I actually got a Samsung MU7000 4K HDR for about $700 which I wish I waited a longer since it dropped to I think $600 and the MU8000 has a better motion rate but I'm overall very satisfied especially since I was stepping up from a 720p Panasonic which bless that thing it still works after all these years.
