Boot Camp, Windows 10. Sound not working!

Hi, i just installed Windows 10 via Boot Camp on my friends MacBook Pro Late-2011. Even though it is not listed as compatible with Windows 10, it still works but there is just one teeny tiny problem. The sound is not working.

It doesn't recognize anything. I have installed lots of different drivers including the ones that came with it. I have tried every single version of it on Apple's site but still to no avail. i tried going into device manager, but there was nothing related to audio. Its just a big red X over the audio icon in the taskbar and audio manager doesn't show anything. Any tips?

Thanks

Apples drivers for their speaker systems are not plug and play, unless you have the specific driver for the specific Mac things probably won't work.

The best solution is to run Windows 7 instead of 10.

Did you install the drivers that came with bootcamp?

[EDIT]

You might need to force install them with Device Manager.
