500MB PUBG Update Turned My Game Into A Slideshow

I just had a tiny 500MB update to pubg which seems to have added this plane map thing but now my game runs like a slideshow, my pc is running below 60% usage which is normal? Whats wrong

OT: you could always try reinstalling the game. it fixed some other issues i was having with PUBG anyway.

try reinstalling / verifying game cache, make sure your GPU drivers are up to date (or reinstall them for good measure), and maybe ask around in your pubg circles if others are having at least some decreased performance as well.

Steam ? Try verifying the game integrity or reinstall it and see if helps. On the other hand, it's pubg so ..

Just had a look on your profile, those specs are definitely more than enough for Pubg at decent frames @ 1080p. 

 

Make sure your game files are validates as suggested above, and also that your graphics drivers are up-to-date. Consider running DDU to fully remove them and reinstall the latest afterwards.

But for real, the game is a piece of trash anyway what do you expect lol Unfinished and runs like a dog on most systems unless you play on peasant quality settings.

 

Fortnite is much beter optimized but looks like a child's cartoon movie lol

i could run Ultra 2560x1080 73FPS and then one update later Minimum 2560x1080 30FPS
