Apple keyboard on Windows

Go to solution Solved by NoRomanBatmansAllowed,

AuthoHotkeys works, but maybe also try out AutoIt? It was made for windows systems, so it might be a bit more stable.

I've been using the Apple Magic keyboard 2 at work (as a back-end web developer) for a few months now and even though I usually hate a lot on Apple, I have got to say that I love it.
So recently I went out and replaced my huge mechanical gaming keyboard at home with a Razer Orbweaver Chroma for gaming and a Apple Magic Keyboard 2 for typing/coding.

However, it seems like Windows support for Apple Keyboards is terrible (as expected).
After fiddeling around for a few hours, I managed to change some small stuff like the Cmd key for the ctrl key using SharpKeys.

But I would like to change a lot more. The left option key doesn't seem to work properly for example. And I would like to be able to do backslashes and stuff mac-style.

Spoiler

For example, on a Mac,

"shift + 7" = "/",

"option+7" = "\",

"option+shift+7" = "|"

In Windows, they're spread out on the keyboard.

I managed to change some of it using AutoHotKeys, however, it randomly stops and starts working. :S

So, is there anyone out there that has done this before?

Meow.

Want to know which mobo to get?

Choose whatever you need. Any more, you're wasting your money. Any less, and you don't get the features you need.

Only you know what you need to do with your computer, so nobody's really qualified to answer this question except for you.

Thanks for your reply! I Just tried Autolt, I probably have the syntax wrong or something but it doesn't work at all.
I'll try AHK again tomorrow, just realised that it's almost 3am...

Tried that. Didn't work. :(
Well, the keyboard "works", I'm typing on it right now. But there are some buttons and shortcuts that i'd like to change.

It seems like the left option (alt) key is working fine with AHK, but the right one does not. I tried changing the syntax up as described in the documentation for the right alt key and altGr with no success.

Advice?
