i am trying to make this build in a specific color theme (black/white) and the parts chosen (motherboard, ram etc.) were planned to have that exact color theme... keep this in mind

 

no case is needed. building a custom one while i work for the money for this over the summer <3

• The NZXT motherboard is grossly overpriced, get something else.
• Get at least a 240GB SSD, they get better performance than smaller drives.
• Don't bother getting a 770 for that price, at least pony up a little more money and grab something like a 970.
• Why do you want an 8700k? If you're gaming, the 8600k is just as good.
• Use PCPartPicker when making build lists.

• They're tested prior to sale, so they're going to work together; some RAM can be temperamental.
• It's just a shit board TBH. It's horrible even at $200, if you plan on overclocking I'd really invest in something better.

Should definitely just get a Ryzen APU PC then

i want the overkill right now and it's already killer, would rather get a new 144 hz monitor beast ass monitor then gtx 2070

• There is a small chance that individual memory sticks will not work in dual channel mode.

• Get the largest ssd that will fit in the budget. Ideally it will be large enough so you won't need an hdd.

• You might consider going with an i7-8700. It doesn't need a lot of cooling and has performance close to that of a stock i7-8700K. This will free up some budget for other things. Like a better psu and/or larger ssd.
