i7 8700K Cooling Suggestions for a future PC build.

Hello,

I was wondering, what kind of cooler should I put on my i7 8700K? I'm going to use the CPU for gaming and for some content creation.

My options right now is: a)H100i V2

                                     b)eVGa CLC 240mm

                                     c)CoolerMaster Master Liquid Pro 240

I want your suggestions,so my CPU won't get toasty....

Personally I'd go with the EVGA, but the 280mm if you can afford it. They have a better warranty.

First of all thanks for the welcome.:D

Secondly,I don't really care about my budget,I just want to buy a cooler so that my CPU won't have any problems with thermals.

i got the nzxt kraken x62 and its awsome :)

the extra performance of the 280mm helps me to run the fans at very low speed.

idle: 20-30°C and in games at about 50-60°C

edit: mine is not overclocked yet

Do you have the i7 8700K?I don't have plans to overclock mine...I prefer auto-tuning.

If you don't plan on overclocking, I'd just save the money and get the 8700. Then you have no worries about cooling.

Also, if you're not overclocking, chances fo you needing a super awesome cooler are slim to none.

Because I want this build to serve me for many many years I want to go all out.So the conclusion is that an air cooler will do?

What are you using it for?

I'd just save the money and get the 8700, a B/H series motherboard (depending on when you're buying), and a CryOrig H5.

The difference between the two is minimal.
