Hey everyone

 

I just wanted what ya'll thought about this build I wanted to make for my parents in June.

Any suggestions on what to change?  As for the case, I just really like it since the build is for my parents, I might as well go for something that looks good .  If you guys have good cases at cheaper prices i'll be willing to take a look though.  

 

[Edit]  The vesa mount is because they are already using dual monitors since i gave them mine when I upgraded monitors

Wait till june, new parts will be out by then and prices will change.

 

How much storage do they need? id just get a 500gb ssd its more simple and most people don't need the space.

June is ages away, don't ask more than 1-2 weeks away before you'll actually buy the parts. Prices and availability changes, and new parts come out.

unless your parents can figure it out or already have, a hybrid storage solution may be too complicated for everyday use.

your parent don't care about the case , so just reuse an old one

also , yeah just use the ssd alone I'm willing to bet they aren't going to use the extra hard drive.

I just wanted to get a head start in planning out this system.  And yea i'm thinking 500gb is better solution.  They're going to use it for everyday use hence the lack of a gpu.

I understand, I just wanted to get a head start as well as get everyone's idea if this is a good part combo.  I also like to plan ahead

My parents already have this type of storage solution with a laptop they had for a long time.  But i'm leaning towards a single SSD.  I think that might be easier for everyone.

I know, but I care about the case and since I kind of want it sleek looking I thought that this case would be a good choice.  I also don't have an old case to use since it's an old dell prebuilt system.

I'd suggest a laptop if you want aesthetics. Or maybe an AIO or mini pc

becuase that black square box I don't think is going to be any more sleek than a microwave.
