Nexus 6p does not charge via usb-c to usb-c anymore

Today i plugged in my phone to charge, used it a bit after that and then it suddenly shut off. I tried turning it back on again but it got stuck in a bootloop.

After already thinking its the bootloops fault, I luckily found some article that said he can only charge with usb a to c.

That is the case for me too. After looking into that problem a bit more and seeing that it has happend to a few, I saw they all said a restart fixed it. Which sadly is not the case for me.

I cant find anymore info on this problem, so I thought I ask here.

 

tl:dr; Cant charge nexus 6p with usb c to usb c cabel but with a usb a to usb c cabel and a restart didnt fix it.

Time for a new cable, if that doesn't work. Your charging port is shot.
