so i went to reddit and they were no help at all so maybe you guys can help me.

My Corsair K65 LUX is typing the letter "o" either twice or not at all. It's starting to get annoying when typing papers and forms poosts that I have to keep going back and deleting any extra letters.

Does anyone have a fix to this?

Have you tried taking off the keycap and seeing if anything is underneath? Have you tried using the keyboard on another device, to see if the problem persists?

well, everything points to a faulty contact in the switch. is it still under warranty?

Nothing on the keycap and I haven't tried another device. Will do that now

I don't think so since I bought it a couple years ago

If the problem is still present on another device, the problem is likely inside this specific switch. Fixing that will require some disassembly.

if you're lucky, you only need to remove the top housing of the switch and the problem is somewhere in the spring part, if you're unlucky it's on the underside of the switch, which will require basically full disassembly and a soldering equipment.
