I need a power supply for $20 or under that has a 6-pin and an 8-pin to connect to my GTX 480. Sorry if I'm being ignorant, I don't know much about power supplies.

Any links would be appreciated.

GTX 480s are power hogs. A Corsair CX550 would be the cheapest thing I’d power one with.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

You won't find a PSU for under $20 that can power a GTX 480, much less said GPU and an entire system.

The cheaper the PSU, the more likely it is to do something bad, like start a fire. If you're vigilant, the Corsair CX series sometimes drops below $25 after a mail-in-rebate.

Congratulations, you just recommended a refurbished trash tier PSU with a single PCI-E connector for a 480, then claimed it has enough PCI-E plugs.
