Does more cores mean that i should get more RAM sticks ?

I cant remember where i heard this but I couldn't find anything about it.

If i have 6 cores and i have 4 open ram slots should i get 4x4 ram sticks or 2x8 ? I heard somewhere (i cant remember where) that if you have more cores you should get more ram sticks

Im new at this so please don't make fun of me for knowing so little :)

I agree with 2x8. I wouldn't get less. I doubt you'll need more.

If you're interested in a product please download and read the manual first.

IMO whoever originally told you this was making fun of you, but there's also the element of gullibility in which you fell for it.

Also don't forget you can always download more ram from cloudram services like this one:

Linus is my fetish.
