1080ti 8700k z370f bottleneck

Ah, in that case, it should be fine.

But since the price hike up on the 1080ti, would be getting the new Titan V a lot better idea? It should outperform 2x 1080ti in machine learning for a simmilar cost.

 

But I don't know much about machine learning, so I cant say for sure.

Hi sir, I am building a system with the following specifications:

CPU i7 8700 k

2x Nvidia 1080 ti

Motherboard asus z370-f gaming sli

 

Will 2x 1080 ti be bottlenecked by motherboard and CPU as motherboard has only 2x PCIe x8 3.0 and CPU has only 16 PCI lanes?

Chances are that nothing can bottleneck a 8700k at the moment.

That would be a monster build.
