Zip tie the excess length close to where you plug it into your PC.

Welcome to the forum!

hello everyone now this is my first time here on linus's forum. anyways coming to the question .i bought a gaming headphones(kotion GS410) from amazon recently. and for my taste the audio is pretty good and that's not a problem here ,the problem is it's cable which is way too long which people may say good but it really makes me be careful as it gets stuck under the chair .and i don't want to damage my headphones because simply i cant afford them what do i do now.

What is the question exactly then.

Yes shortening, and lengthening cables is very commons, and very easy. Look for a guide?

Some of the questions on this forum these days are utterly retarded. It's like people are afraid of searching for themselves.

Probably gaming or helping technophobes with tech...

As stated above use zip ties to bundle the excess. On mine, I used pliers to pull the zip ties extremely tight so the cord doesnt slip when I pull on it

Cutting it would also require you to splice it back limiting you to that shorter wire. No need to cut and the longer cable might be needed sometime down the line.

Answers in forums, not just this one, depend on the question. Some are easier to respond to than others.

You always can wrap the cable around a cylinrical object and use a hairdryer to make a spiral headphone cord, as long as the cord is shielded with rubber.
