its probably not worth it to go with anything expensive, the metallic thermal pastes are often quite affordable and good. It doesn't matter that much though, its not worth spending a lot of money on thermal paste to get the most out of an old CPU

Any decent thermal paste. I wouldn't get anything too expensive like liquid metal or anything. Arctic Silver is what I used to use back then. It would probably work fine for you.

Nope, but MX-4 is good and trusted.
