Have you plugged it into the correct header?  and is there a software tool for it instead of in the AI suite?

But I just can't find the option to change the LEDs, even though my motherboard should support it.

Aura doesn't even detect anything.

Download "AURA" from the Asus site.  That's what controls al the RGB. Does an amazing job, too!
