At random times my computer will just completely freeze. At first i thought it might have been my overclock but i turned it down and same random freeze happens.

So far i haven't a clue of what could be causing these freezes considering they happen completely at random. Shortest time in between freezes has been 2 hours but i have also gone 20+ hours without a freeze.

They've have happend during pretty much any activity, and i'm completely at a loss because afaik Event Viewer can't log anything.

It almost looks like i get a BSOD and halfway it freezes. I have attached a picture to give you a rough idea.

If there is any more info i can provide just let me know and i'll do my best.

Thanks in advance!

Since it looks like you're playing a game I'd recommend trying to reinstall your graphics driver using Display Driver Uninstaller to remove the current one.

Ok in the 20 minutes since i have posted this my pc froze a grand total of 6 times! First time was 2 seconds after posting this thread (So glad it happend AFTER). Then after restarting and restoring my Chrome tabs it froze again, followed by freezing during startup and 3 more times right after startup while doing absolutely nothing at all.

system seems "stable" for now

Gonne do what you suggested none the less and see where we go from here.

Also as a side note, these freezes have been happening for the past 2 months but with days in between freezes.

This week freezes have been happening daily and today it's happend more then once so that's why i decided to post on here considering it is actually keeping me from doing anything for longer periods like playing certain games

have a look at Reliability Monitor in windows

Reliability monitor just says the computer was improperly shutdown : / Anyways i have removed my display drivers with DDU and and installed latest drivers. So far everything's going fine playing Overwatch atm. I'll update in a few hours to let you guys know If the freezes still happen.

not sure about the "reliability" of reliability monitor but it should be a hardware issue and not a software issue trusting the reliability of windows reliability monitor :P

Welp so i still get freezes but now the Bsod actually shows completely and freezes on 0%.

Event viewer and reliability monitor don't show anything about the freeze just that the pc was shut down unexpectedly.

Is there anything i can do to log anything to figure out what's going on?
