I havent used it in awhile so maybe it got better but this eats resources, it would take up around 6gb of ram and 15 cpu when I first got it maybe I will give it a shot again

You could also use some extensions in Rainmeter, to for example get an equalizer on screen

I haven't used it myself yet but DeskScapes by StarDock could also be a good answer to your needs. If its as good as Fences by the same Developer than its pretty damn good. https://www.stardock.com/products/odnt/
