What are the O-Rings that best decreases the sound of the keyboard but barely decrease how hard to press and how far you can press.

well, you would need some soft O-rings for that. basically 40-50 Shore-A would be the most silent. usually those rings do take up about 1.5mm of your keytravel tough.

Mind sending a link? Also are there any ones that are less quiet but have less key travel?

I used 3/16th ID 5/16th OD EPDM o-rings I bought from my local seal supplier.

 

They reduce key travel by under 0.5mm when depressing adjacent keys with and without an o-ring, on my logitech G610 with cherry brown switches. Cost me $25NZ including same day shipping to my door.

$15 for that? You can buy an entire bag for less than $1 on ebay... they are all pretty much the same.

Sure, if you can find the dimension and correct shore. I can take measurements at home. Ebay quality is not necessarily the same quality (life expectancy) but that is fine.

You want soft and thin. I think they make .2mm rings.  Be aware that o-rings only affect the bottom out noise. They do nothing to quiet the release noise or the internal operation of  the switch.

Can you recommend any specific O-rings?

I did not consider ebay so i got the WASD kit. I use the blue ones. You have to use them a bit for them to settle. Or you have to make sure they are seated all the way down before using. Either way. it will work itself out.

okay heres where it may come in handy

 

so you love the feel of the MX blues but your dorm buddy hates it when you type on it at night if you get O rings you get the same feel but make the switch quieter so your room mate doesn't die of sleep deprivation lol.
