Are there slim rad fans available which dont skimp on cfm's?

if you don't care how loud it is then yeah there's plenty.

run slim fans at 100% speed and they'll move as much air as a thicker fan at low speeds.

There's the Prolimatech Vortex12. It claims 54CFM, but don't expect that to be quiet.

I care about noise, to the extent I dont want to spend more then I have to.

if noise is a concern you should run a standard air cooler on the cpu as it only needs a single fan rather than the rad which needs 3 and a pump.

should reduce the noise greatly.

100cfm's come in at ~40db

Pcpartspicker is a good source to find noise levels, cfm and rpm, looking at it now. Still want slim though

just looking at the list on pcpartspicker

probably coorelated to rpm as well right.

18db but 81cfm and 1600rpm looks decent

averages are 30-35db to 45db

x3 because there are 3 fans not one

so you want to use a 360mm radiator , you want the fan to be smaller than normal , you want them to be quieter than normal , you want them to run slower than normal , and then want to the cpu to be cooler than normal.

just making sure I got all this correct before I recommend a stock plastic intel heatsink.
