So as some of you already know I am in the middle of a build. And because of the video card, it is making it very difficult to get things together. I am giving my old system to my son so all of the internal components are going to him. I was going to get a new case for myself but I am going to make some sacrifices so I can put more funds into getting a good GPU if I can. So to make this possible, I am going to keep my old case (Thermaltake Overseer RX-1) and forego the Thermaltake X71. Yes I know it would have been too much case for me but I could have loaded it up with RGB fans later down the line to make it super cool, literally and figuratively. I am also giving up the cooler I was planning on getting (NZXT Kraken X62, if bought new I could have gotten for just under $140.00 US) and settled for a AMD Wraith Spire RGB (got off EBay for $48.30 US) Which brings me to my question. Instead of getting a case for me, I need to get a case for my son. Now he doesn't care what the case itself looks like (because he is not super cool like me) so looks are not a problem. I just need a case for say under $60.00 US and has good air flow which can fit the items you see in my signature below. Let the suggestion begin. Please.

If you can step it up a bit, the Fractal Design Meshify C is a good option if you want something discreet and that has good airflow. Don't go with something like the S340 because quite frankly it's overrated and has poor airflow as well as missing the abliity to mount a top radiator over 120mm in length. If you can't go much past your current budget, maybe go with the Phanteks Eclipse P400?

Another option is the cooler master master case 5. I picked one up brand new for 50 USD on Amazon about 6 months ago. It has plenty of space and air flow. Only down side is the lack of fan slots on the top.

Or another idea is to check letgo/Craigslist type places. I picked up a Phanteks P400S with 6 corsair sp 120 fans pre installed for 40 USD. I only had to drive about 10 miles to pick it up. Nearly perfect case. If I lived closer I would have given you one of my cases free of charge as I'm running out of storage space. Its a bit expensive to ship clear across country.

So what do you all think of this case:

It's under 60 dollars and comes with a 35 dollar rebate. And can fit the cooler Noctua NH-D15

I mean, you get what you pay for.   Common review issue is broken power button and you get lower quality fans than the ones I linked.

In GN's testing, this was one of the best performing airflow case they've ever tested. Nevermind this wont fit the NH-D15

If $73 is still too high, you could get something like the Fractal Design Focus G, comes in five colors!

Right now my goal is to get something cheap so I can put money into a video card. I looked at this on and yes it is a good high air flow case, but right now the case itself does not matter. Just need something that my current parts will fit into and at the price the case I want (currently 137.99) to get is at the moment, I have a better chance of saving money for that than a GPU since the prices will never come down enough that it won't take half of my paycheck to purchase. I should just get the card now and save to the case for later But yes this case could sever my needs but the less I spend on a case, the more I can put towards a GPU.

Well, I couldn't even stop and pick one considering the broad criteria you've mentioned.

Have you taken a look at any of these (in order of preference)?

- Lian Li PC-K5WX - Lian Li do not cut corners when it comes to quality, expect a very well though-out and machined case

- Fractal Design Focus G - apart from the blue colour (which is interesting, I admit), this is once again a very good case

- COUGAR MX310 - this is a very interesting design, plus it has a fan controller. I think it's an option which you should consider

- FSP CMT210 - big open space, lots of fan options, I don't see why not

I have looked at 2 of the 4 you mentioned but again, the case is not overly important right now. I can get a really cheap case, in this case 19.99 after rebate, and replace the fans on the side and I can get the case I want at a later date and pass my Overseer RX-1 to my son when I get the case I want later down the line. Again, trying to keep price down so I can put money into a GPU since prices will never come down enough for me to afford outside of tax refund time.
