ULTIMATE 100" Bedroom Gaming Battlestation!

Had to register just to get this off my chest. LTT guys, if you're going to do videos featuring $30,000 projectors, don't waste their potential on haphazard solutions, please.

At the very least, redo the 12k triple projector video with a proper edge blending solution. I'm not going to direct link things because I don't want anyone to think I'm affiliated with these products, but 5 second Google search should suffice. Immersive Display Pro will literally automatically calibrate your multi-projector keystone and edge blending by pointing a webcam at the projection screen displaying some test patterns. Not only would this make the video 100 times more awesome, it would have saved you hours of manually fiddling with the projectors and still getting a piss poor result.

For the 100" bedroom gaming station, get a daylight viewable short throw projection screen from Screen Innovations. In the dark you'll get some sick HDR contrast ratios, and even with sunlight or just the lights on the performance is going to be exceptional.

Also, maybe hire someone with actual workshop skills. I'm sure there's some canuck lumberjack in the area that would be willing to work for you guys. It's really weird watching videos where people get five-figure hardware and then proceed to handle it in the most unprofessional way imaginable. It can be funny for a bit, but now it just looks unprofessional.

They get the hardware because of sponsors, they don't buy all the hardware (well they buy some but only when they can't get review samples etc.); also most bespoke carpenters will charge A LOT to do something like that due to it being bespoke. They might just like DIYing things; remember they are a tech channel not a Carpentry channel

I'm not saying "contract a carpenter to make something", I'm saying "hire someone with workshop/woodworking skills". Not all nerds are bad at this stuff, and there's plenty that'd want to work for an outfit like LTT. But my first two arguments are much more prudent than the one you commented on, actually. The keystoning software I mentioned is relatively dirt cheap and I wouldn't be surprised if SI would be willing to sponsor a projection screen for them.

Feet came with the "Alex" cabinets from Ikea; they just mounted them on the TOP of the cabinet instead of under.

That could lead to confusion for those who are subbed to the YT channel tho...

Anyways, my biggest question is does LMG actually have a phonebook? I've not seen one in like 8 years!

Nice work on the desk tho I would have sunk it a little further down and put a cover on top of the unit giving it a more flush look. Using cardboard would give proper measurements where to place the wood for the appropriate exit point for the display ;) Crude but it would work.

Sinking it farther would only work if the hole was wider, otherwise the projection hits the edges of the table.

Just say Clickbait

'Clickbait' implies that the title is lying or embellishing. We never do that. What we DO do (I just said doodoo) is highlight the MOST EXTREME!! element of any given project. I think Click bait vs click worthy is an important distinction.

Actually that's incorrect; the Alex units have their feet on the bottom.

The feet in the picture came from Home Depot:

Good point. I wonder if you could use mirrors :D Tho that would diminish the image quality, if it would even work at all...

What's next - a battle-station with dual AMD EPYCs and a Titan V? (128GB DDR4 ECC RAM and 8TB in RAID 6 implied).

Any idea where that exact door came from that was used for the desk? I currently use a 8 by 2 butcher's block I scored from menards and it's awesome. But like the video states I need something 6 to 8 inches deeper.  (That's what she said.)

Hey LTT I was wondering if you could give an in depth guide or video on how to make the desk because my mom and I were going to build one for myself and we are not good with stuff like this.

We can get along.  I have no RGB, and cant understand why someone wouldn't prefer a side intake fan over being able to see inside.
