pump header?

Just now, PrimeSonic said:

Yeah, dude, if you want to properly control anything on a Corsair AiO, then what you need to use is Corsair LINK.

Yes, plug the 4-pin connection coming from the H100i into the CPU-fan header. That's there mainly to inform the motherboard that the pump is up and running.

For any kind of pump speed control on this AiO, regardless of how necessary it may or may not be, you need to connect the USB cable that came with it to a USB header on the motherboard and set up what you want using the Corsair LINK software.

Then change it.

Forget about the pump header. Pretend it doesn't exist.

Connect the 4-pin from the H100i to the fan header labeled CPU-fan on the motherboard.

Connect the USB cable that came with the H100i to a USB 2.0 header on the motherboard.

Ignore everything in the BIOS and just use Corsair LINK for managing the AiO.

As an aside, all those water cooling options you're seeing in your BIOS aren't really meant for AiOs.

These would be for when you're using a custom loop and you have a pump which gets its speed directly from the motherboard BIOS settings.

The H100i handles its speed either by itself or through Corsair LINK so any special options from the motherboard won't be used.

Remember, the H100i can also control the fan speeds as well, if you've connected the fans into the AiO.

You would manage those speeds through Corsair LINK. There's just no other way.

If you've made any changes to the CPU-fan speeds, yeah, go ahead and set those back to default.

If not, you won't need to make any other changes from the BIOS end.
