Best way to play n64 games

Raspberry Pi 3 isn't up to snuff when it comes to N64 emulation. An N64 on a older TV, or modded for HDMI is an option. I have a set of N64 to USB controllers and I emulate on my PC. Not perfect, but good enough over 90% of the time. Running at upscaled resolution is nice. I use RetroArch as my front end.
