I am looking for a cheap pc/laptop with a dual core or something for around 200 300$ aus could someone tell me where to get one

What are you using it for? If you just want it for web browsing, word processing, etc then get a chromebook. They're exactly in your price range and you can get them at Officeworks, JB Hi-Fi, and other consumer electronics stores.

Just look for used thinkpads and you can get quad core i7s for that budget

are you in the US?

mostly and maybe a bit of csgo surf would it at least b able to run surf its a ot easier then deathmatch

wait would i be able to put a intel Pentium Quad core N3530 up to 2.58ghz cpu in a laptop from a AMD V140 2.30 GHZ?

Check out gumtree. That's really all I can say, given the limited information we have. I've found cheap laptops with quad core i7s in them on gumtree a fair bit, it shouldn't be hard. Just don't expect you'll be able to game on a new laptop for 200-300 AUD

that would be mostly impossible, except if you really want to ghetto mod it

"Make it future proof for some years at least, don't buy "only slightly better" stuff that gets outdated 1 year, that's throwing money away" @pipoawas

 

-Frequencies DON'T represent everything and in many cases that is true (referring to Individual CPU Clocks).
