When I go to Format my HDD I have no GPT Option

So im turning my external hdd from NTFS to GPT and when I delete the hard drive and make a new volume it doesnt have a gpt option?

Never mind just click the area where it says Disk 4 or whatever and press convert to GPT

You solved your issue, but NTFS is a file system while GPT is a partition table format.

I’m using NTFS file system but I made He hdd GPT so I can store more than 2tb of data

I just don’t want someone to stumble upon this thread and mistake GPT and NTFS for file systems.
