How much should a PSU have? (2x GPU)

You can run 2 1080 Tis on that 850W PSU just fine.

Hello, I just thought about buying a second 1080Ti but how much Watt should I have now for two 1080Ti's?  (if it changes somethging: https://www.msi.com/Graphics-card/GeForce-GTX-1080-Ti-GAMING-X-11G.html)

my current system if someone has the time to tell me how much watt I should have at the end.

Intel I7-7700k 4.2 GHz 
Corsair 32GB 3466MHz Ram 
1x MSI Gaming X 1080 Ti 
MSI Gaming Pro Carbon Mainboard 
Samsung 950 Pro 1TB SSD
Corsair TX850M
Be Quiet Pure Rock Slim
2x Pure Wings 2

You can run 2 1080 Tis on that 850W PSU just fine.

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

It depends on the GPU's power draw. You can run 2 1060s on 450W assuming you don't have a super power hungry CPU. But those don't SLI anyway xD

 

Say you have a 1080 and a 650W PSU. You can still run another 1080 if it's a good 650W one.

well it didn't used to be that way.

 

It's hard to train my head out of using higher wattage power supplies for higher end components
