Cryptocurrency wallet (what do i use)

bakidota

I'm planning to start mining. Most likely zcash and monero but where do i store it??

Is it hard to set up offline desktop wallet ( i got no experience at all ), and i feel like my computer is secure enough.
Also are there any reputable websites that promise security for online wallet?
Also lastly do the wallet depends on the currency you mine?? like this wallet for these 3 cryptocurrencies and this wallet for others??

more like "this wallet for THIS currency, That wallet for THAT currency", so on and so forth. There are a few that can do many, but whatever you choose you MUST ENSURE that you get the private keys to your wallet. That is the ONLY way to prove that a wallet address belongs to you. If you don't have them, YOU DON'T OWN IT (or the crypto contained within it).

No networked computer is secure enough. If you've got an old machine somewhere, try to use that.

Basically what you do is you just follow the steps for setting up a wallet (different for each crypto, but you can find it on their webpages).

Safest way is to download usually an HTML or exe or something onto a usb and run it on your offline computer. Then boom, you've got your public and private keys. NEVER share your private keys, but you can share your public one in order for people to give you money.

Want to know which mobo to get?

Spoiler

Choose whatever you need. Any more, you're wasting your money. Any less, and you don't get the features you need.

Only you know what you need to do with your computer, so nobody's really qualified to answer this question except for you.

Should be an option in whatever wallet you happen to use. If not, WALK AWAY SLOWLY.
