Does Windows 10 Support these CPUs?

I have a server with 4 Xeon X7560 CPUs, a GTX 1060 and 1TB of 1333MHz DDR3. I was wondering if this setup would be supported Windows 10, I know I will have to go down to 128GB of RAM, as Windows 10 can't support higher, but will it support my CPUs? If not I also have a different server with 2 Xeon X5670 CPUs, will that work instead? I am planning on running multiple virtual machines, maybe 3-4 max. If Windows doesn't support it, Can I run 3 Windows 10 virtual Machines through Linux? Thanks! That's all!

Windows 10 Pro will support the memory, and up to 2 CPUs with 128 cores.  Doesn't look like 4 is doable.

If I'm not mistaken W10 only supports two physical CPUs, so for all 4 CPUs to actually work you'd need to step up to Windows Server, and a max of 256 cores are supported in 64-bit installs (not that you'd want to use a 32-bit install anyways).

Windows 10 pro doesnt support more then 2 cpu's (sadly) so will need windows server for it

Does windows Server support normal windows apps or virtual machines? It would be nice to run something like Cinebench just to see what happens :-)

Yep. Not sure if it supports Windows Store or not (been a little bit since I've used Server 2016), but I doubt you'd want to run something from the Store on a machine with that much oompfh.

Yes cinebench supports windows server.

It will also supports VMs through virtualbox, vmware or hyper-v.

From there you can install any OS on top of windows.

Basically you can install any programs. If not there must be some workaround.

Windows server prioritize background task more. So its more suitable to serve VM's.
