Hi guys,

I just bought some new fans for my build (Noctua slim fans and Corsair ML120s) and in doing so freed up the "Pump" Header on my motherboard. I set the header to work as "W_Pump" and put it in PWM mode, as that is what I have, a DDC PWM pump, and the pump just wouldn't run, so I reattached it to the molex cable I had been using, and it now works again, albeit very loudly as before. Does anyone know how the W_Pump header on the Asrock X370 ITX/ac is supposed to work? I can't figure this out.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

The PWM header is mearly to control the speed of the DDC pump, it still requires power from the molex adapter. Once plugged into a PWM header, the pump speed can be controlled via the BIOS. The fan header does not provide the pump with any power, that is why it only has 2 cables coming off it. PWM sense and RPM report.
