ConfessionBear

I just did a clean install of windows 10 onto my new ssd and I had winsows on my hdd already and it's still there. Do I delete the files of it on my hdd or do I just leave it? It won't do anything right?

Yes but you might have 2 bootable drives now and each time u boot up ur pc u'll be presented an option to choose which Windows u liked to boot.

If u dont have any important data to backup from ur username folder in your old HDD or any other files in it then just format your drives.

If you type clean-up in search bar if Windows then click disk clean-up

Then click clean-up system files.

It may take a minute to search system files.

Then check the box old Windows files or instal can't remember exact name then click on and that will delete old install

So you're saying to wipe the hard drive? If so, how do you do that?

If u are not familiar with CMD and diskpart command just go to the disk management and delete the partition.

Did u have apps installed in the OLD HDD?

:P  its like u didnt knew what u are doing.

Wiping or formatting the drives will delete everything inside it.

Just reinstall the apps if u delete something important dont do anyting with the drives like formatting or writing data to it and use partition recovery tool to recover the deleted partition and all the data in it.

THIS PROCESS WILL MAKE YOU LOSE ALL YOUR FILES IN YOUR DRIVE

DO AT YOUR OWN RISK

there is the way using registry cleaners if you value the files in your hard drive. I am not familiar how to do it anyway
