Country?

What's your monitor set up? Resolution/Refresh rate?

You should sell the 1080ti for like $1000 while you can and just save that money for later.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

I'd say you should also buy from places like Taobao or even local electronics stores, but if you really want intergreity JD is fine.

More RAM, drop the M.2 SSD for a SATA one, you don't need 750W. 550W is fine.

I see alot of places that say 650w is minimum for 1080ti thats why i went for 750 and i actually plan to get another 16G later on so ill have 32 and i was thinking of just getting a 120 SSD for my windows but i wasnt sure as ive never owned a SSD as ive been gaming on a system i built in 2007 and slowly been upgrading but the cpu just cant handle it anymore so im upgrading now

You really didn't need a 1080ti for that type of display, an RX 580/1060 6GB or 1070/Vega 56 at most would have been fine

how's the GPU pricing there? is everything 50+% over MSRP?

No actually theres a few that are a bit pricy but mostly its just no stock but for those that are available they are going for the MSRP generally, the only issue is stock and i know the card is over kill but i plan to up everything in the coming months to get the best possible experience out of my system especially since for the first time in years ive got money haha

Well how long before you upgrade to a 1440p 144hz display or 4k 60hz display?

550 is fine.

120 is ok, it's just get a SATA one like the 850 EVO instead. Unless you are doing 4K video editing the extra speed doesn't matter.

Okay thanks ill look for the 850 evo but im still a bit concerned as to pair a over clocked i7 8700k with 1080ti with 32 gigs of RAM on a 550w psu, Id really be sad if it popped my components

If it isn't much more, you can go for the 650. 550 would be fine though.
