Soundcard or dac for m50x?

Hello, i currently run my m50x headphones through the onboard soundcard. Would there be a noticable change in soundquality if i were to invest in a soundcard for 100$?

My understanding is the m50x requires very little to run.  What motherboard do you Have?

No, save yourself some moolah for a headphone upgrade instead.
