1080 ti Availability

GeorgeDouj88

Simply, I just want to know if anyone has information on when the 1080 tis will be back in stock. I'm specifically looking for the EVGA 1080 ti FTW3 because it had the nicest backplate and I wanted to take advantage of the surplus of thermal sensors and I can't really switch even if I really wanted to because I already bought the water block for it. I've ordered allll the parts, including the hardline watercooling stuff, but the GPU is the only thing missing until I can build (and the Define R6 Blackout TG case but it's gonna be available soon so that doesn't really matter). Maybe if you will or know someone who can maybe sell me a used one then that would be great :). Any help would be appreciated.

I've noticed that they are basically non-existent right now, and everything is insanely expensive--way more than even two months ago.

Makes me wonder if supply is winding down to make way for new, shiny stuff... I doubt it, but I can hope! #volta

Find a cheap placeholder and play some Hat in Time (or other old or less demanding titles) while waiting for prices to come down to sane levels.

I prefer EVGA and want a 1080 Ti.  I am on like every notification, most of the time just crappy Gigabyte cards are showing up.

I would love to score a SC2, SC2 Hybrid, FTW3 as close to $800 as possible

I am pretty close to going YOLO and just getting a Titan XP, too bad NVidia charges NY tax WTF

SFF Time N-ATX V2 - Gigabyte X570 I Aorus Pro WIFI - AMD Ryzen 9 5800X3D - Gigabyte Gaming OC RTX 4090 - LG C2 OLED 42"

Here in the UK it's the same. Even what I would call basic 1080Ti's are asking for crazy money. Makes my 700 pound I paid seem a good deal

Yeah, currently there is an issue with BIOS and all the FTW Cards even the Kingpin (except the LN2 BIOS) have problem with Power Limit. It is stuck to 117% even when set to 127%.

Many people reported this on EVGA forum since about summer 2017 and we got response that it will be fixed by NVIDIA driver update.. 2 updates later and no fix so far.

Thanks for the info will steer clear from FTW

Times are real tough now.  Cheapest EVGA Hybrid I can find is $1300

I purchased a Star Wars Titan XP last night then got cold feet and cancelled, hoping sooner rather than later I can find a decent 1080 Ti for sub $900

I've seen some in stock 6 or 7 times in the last few days.  If u are serious about buying one then u definitely should be going to nowinstock.net/videocards/nvidia

After that if u don't have a eagle eye then I definitely recommend signing up to the site and then using their text and email "In Stock Alert" options.

I was told by a friend that works at my local Micro Center that their GPU stock will be restocked, tomorrow, 1/17.He said this includes, 1070, 1070ti, 10800 and 1080tis. I wonder if i should buy several and hold on to them and then sell them to friends or family wanting to build.

You are only gonna get two. Unless you say you’re a new costumer and have another Id with another name.
