Just filter on a website on max $800 like this (I assume you are from the USA). The thing about gaming laptops is that they generally have 8gb ram or more a good processor and an ssd that's why I lean towards one if you are on a budget, you could go for a used XPS13 (the base model new is $799) or a Microsoft surface. I don't know what you mean with light browsing and programming but it's always nice to have an HQ processor and 8gb ram, you could also go for y520 or something like that.
