Intel® Core™ i7 3930K Processor, no Windows 10?

Go to solution Solved by BoopityDoop,

could save some money by using Microsoft’s Windows Creation Tool, pretty easy process to set that up :)

Looking at Intel's web site, it looks like the Intel® Core™ i7 3930K Processor is a Sandy Bridge E and

does not support the Windows® 10 driver. Am I interpreting that information correctly?  Windows 10 won't boot with this processor, and I need to stick with the copy of

Windows 7 that came with the machine?

I've got a i3 2100 in a computer running windows 10 on a mobo that is for windows 8. It will probably work.

If I use words like probably or most likely, it is because I dislike certainty. These words can probably be omitted and the sentence read as a certainty.

I have not purchased a copy yet. Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro appear to be the only options available. 64-bit, of course.
