I had this old laptop last year that had 2 gb of ram. But whenever i whent into computer properties it always said i had 1.9 available. Why was this? I dont have the laptop anymore but itd be good to know.

I hAve an unfinished pc build. Pls dont bully for not having one yet or i cry.

Maybe it ran on windows 95? I dunno. And are you sure it wasn't GPU?

Its windows 10, and also it was iGPU

The I consider it really strange. Maybe it was the iGPU reserved memory? Who knows. It's gone now, and you can't check anything anymore.

Some RAM is allocated to the iGPU, and some is already used from the system. This is normal, though I would suggest not sticking with 2GB of RAM...... You will use it up rather quickly.
