My PC became laggy way too suddenly?!

I was in a game of fortnite then my whole PC went to like 1 frame per second and i dont know why. Its happened twice before. Had to switch off by power supply :(

No. Not the cause. Early benchmarks shows no change (changes are within margin of errors), in gaming situations. At least on Windows side. The performance drop report was for Linux based OSs. I will NOT say that Windows is not affected. A lot of test that needs to be done with various CPUs, system configurations and wide variety of games. Take time to make it all. Also, this is only gaming... other things might be affected.

What were your CPU and GPU temperatures before the lag happened?
