Need a new Smartphone!

Hello.
So, I'am in need of a new smartphone, and decided to go with ASUS, but not sure which version of their newest ASUS ZENphone compares the closest if not better to my older one, LG G4, the LG G4 was a really good phone I had, shame it died. :c

 

Any recommendations that could live up to the LG G4 specs or close to it enough? :D

Well, I'am just interested in the ASUS type of phones, my old LG P990 Lasted me from it's release until 2015.

LG G4 lasted me two years almost exactly before it died out like that,was both a ANDROID thingy and something with the battery, tried new battery and then happened same thing there.

 

Then I've been looking at the ASUS Zenphones and they seem like something I'd like to try out!

Understandable. I didn't look into the Zenphones too much, I don't like the power button being in the middle at the top. Just something to think about, they are certainly good phones, but I just couldn't deal with the power button in such an inconvenient spot.

The new Zenfone generation has a camera 4K video issue. Pink lines show up when you are moving the camera like when you are walking. Because i love 4K videos and i shoot a lot of them i cant deal with it but anyway the zenfone series are growing up in the last years. My all-over recommendation is to wait for the Xiaomi Mi7 (cause it will amazingly ROCKS), maybe the Samu A5 (2018) (if the leaks are true it will has a 18:9 screen and maybe dual camera system, or it will be the A7) or the S9 itself if you've got enough money for that. If you want to buy a phone urgently i recommend the 1+5T.
