"better"

For what criteria?

Performance?

Value?

A balance of the two?

IOMMU compatibility (GPU passthrough)?

Virtualization performance?

idk

Not an AMD fanboy, but I like the direction their chip is taking them. The poll of "which is better" is a bit ambiguous, so I decided to go with, which chip is better for the industry.

These are all stacked with clear winners (without proper criteria) lol.

The 8350K is overpriced, the 8600K is pointless once the H and B chipsets drop for the i5-8400 and the 8700K  is the undisputed king on the consumer platform. Oh, and the 7980XE is the best Jewish joke I've seen in years.

PC Specs - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D MSI B550M Mortar - 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4-3600 @ CL16 - ASRock RX7800XT 660p 1TBGB & Crucial P5 1TB Fractal Define Mini C CM V750v2 - Windows 11 Pro

You chose legit the worst value chips from both companies that don’t make sense...

The answer is as always: it depends
