Upgrading PC WHile Having OEM Key

Hi guys. I just found out that the hard drive I received from amazon was broken, so i've decided just to buy a 500 gb ssd. I don't think this is enough for gaming, so I want to add in a 1 tb hardrive soon. I have an oem windows 10 pro key, and I don't know if it will reactivate  once I add in a hardrive.

It won't be an issue. Adding a hard drive to your system won't deactivate Windows, and the Windows copy will activate fine on your 500GB SSD (though you may have to use Microsoft's automated phone system.)

so the ssd will already have a ntfs file base type for windows 10 to download onto?

It will need to be formatted.

so if I buy a ssd, will I have to manully convert it into an ntfs file type for windows to download onto, or will it automatically downoload itself when I put the flashdrive with windows 10 into my computer.

Did you already have windows 10 on that PC?

If so, you don't need to activate anything, it will activate itself.

You just need to install windows.

You will format drive during install process. Win10 is fully on that bootable flash drive (compressed ). There won't be any downloading before you see desktop and updates start.
