UPDATE: Ran DDU and reinstalled GPU driver.

Also realised i'm a dumbass, the reason the game wouldn't run over 60fps is because one of the settings has it so the game syncs every frame or something. And as I have a 60hz monitor it was never gonna exceed that.

I have since turned that off to see what would happen with the fps, it is now sitting at ~90fps, gonna play for a while and see if I notice any fps drops.

Recently build a new PC and not sure if its running 100% correctly, when I play WW2 zombies I struggle to get a constant 60fps and my fps doesn't go above 60 (max fps is 80 in game settings).

When running the game I noticed that my GPU usage sits at 30% 40% and jumps to 50% from time to time, does this sound like a issue with the PC?

I don't know if this means my GPU is being bottle necked? Any help would be appreciated!

Also I can provide screen shots of benchmarks I have ran, like 3d mark, valley etc.

Specs:

MSI Geforce 1070ti 8gb

Ryzen 5 1600 (over clocked to 3.75hz)

As it never takes that long, always reinstall drivers (with a run of DDU - DisplayDriverUninstaller) in between the uninstall/reinstall when you get the first problems...

Nail that out as an issue first... usually its the drivers, but when you nail them out of the equation, you then know to delve deeper.

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

Well the standard first step of troubleshooting would be DDU in safe mode and reinstall drivers fresh new

Without any clue about what settings you're using in the game there wont be much help that the collective intelligence can offer you.

So just post your video settings and then there'll be some help

Sorry, forgot to mention. Included some screenshots to show most of the settings and the usages while the game is running.

tried this, still not using 100% of gpu and getting fps drops. Its like the game stutters and I drop 5+frames (noticeable)

your screenshots are useless, if you want to really get help download msi afterburner, use it to show the clocks of GPU and CPU, utilization and temperatures.

Stress test the GPU with Heaven Benchmark on 1080p Ultra
Stress test the CPU with cinebench, have cpu-z see if it is maintaining clocks with it too... you can also stress it with it.

Hey, So I ran some bench marks as well as leaving heaven to run for a while to see if I could spot any defects. And it seems to be running fine.

You can see the result of all the benchmarks I ran, the cpu runs fine when stress testing. It can run at 100% for an extended period of time. The gpu is the same.

yeah your computer is working right, it probably is a software side issue with the game, though one thing is certain, ryzen is not the best solution for high refresh rate gaming.

:S yeah its strange, I can't even run borderlands 2 at a stable 60fps. But I think that's windows 10 issues.

Anyway thanks for the suggestions and help, have a great new year!
