Do any of u lot think ram prices will actually go down?

If so how long do you lot speculate it will stay high for?

supply and demand. The prices are high so demand will follow. This will result in a lower price. Increasing supply of RAM however requires extra factories. Those take a couple of years to build. Expect RAM prices to remain high in the foreseeable future. It will take a couple of years to completely normalize again.

Buy used,I saw some ddr4 going for like $15 a stick and he had 4 of them 8gb ones. Just gotta wait till people who don’t know what their selling sell stuff

Sucks don't it I need 16 more gigs of flare x to add to my existing ram but its doubled in price from when I first got the first kit

there might be a drop in the first half the year between the time new stuff is announced in feb to the time when they actually come out, we are probably past the peak for now, could be higher once zen+ releases.

nope. 5 years from now when you're done with your computer you'll need to pull your ram and lock it in a safe in your bedroom and sleep with a gun.

Would anyone be willing to hazard a guess as to what 8GB DDR4 2133 ECC memory would be worth? I have about 20-30 sticks of the stuff sitting in a drawer at home going to waste
