Asterisk IP phone software resources?

Hello, I will most likely be interviewing with a business in my area next week and I was told over the phone that they've been dealing a lot with Asterisk.

 

So I'm wondering what are some good resources I can read up on over the weekend so I can kind of get an a general understanding of the software and IP phones in general? because I've never worked with them before. when doing some googl'ing I saw there was a couple of posts people had made on this forum asking questions about some scripts they were writing for asterisk and such...so I know there at least must be some people around who have some experience. just thought I would ask if anyone has any *good* resources on it.
