Will 2 intel xeon x5650s bottleneck 2 gtx 970 4gb cards in sli

I am planning on making a build for a friend using 2 intel xeon x5650's and 3 gtx 970's (4gb each) in SLI and I want to know if the cpus will bottleneck the gpus

That is an older chip that would most likely cause a bottleneck due to its low clock speed. It might even be better to get a single X5650 drop it in an X58 board and OC to upwards of 4GHz. Also why 3 way SLI you may as well go with a 1070 or 1080 and save yourself some hassle.

You'd be better off with a 980, 1070, etc.

Unless you're getting those CPUs super cheap there are better options.
