Is it bad enough so it can be forgiven?, or its just mediocre

Mr. Chan Chan

My (pc)case always felt(dora) a bit empty, then I got bored of it, and also I wanted more ventilation; so I decided to mod it to be a open case, test bench-like (it just wouldn't serve that purpose because I dont have anything to test lol).

I don't have any power tools so I did this with some pliers, a  <hack>saw, a hammer (not MC), and some files (fisical ones) (and some handy hands, duh).

The mobo tray just sits on top of everything and the psu isn't scewed to anything (well in some way it is (up)).

I made the power button-usb panel but it is just sloppy.

Guess I better buy a new case.

P.S. Sorry for PUNish you with my jokes :P

Looks good for what you did. I wouldnt put a graphics card on it unless you have a way to secure it.

I think it's kinda cute.  In the way a kitten that's been in too many fights and is missing half an ear and one eyeball is still kinda cute.

4.5/5 stars.  Level it out so everything has nice 90 degree angles (looking at you, rear view of motherboard tray), and run that tiny little runt!

Not even maybe a gtx 1050ti mini? Would it be still too heavy?

The thing is that since I took apart the case the mobo tray was "bent", i think its maybe because how it was made (since its a cheap case), it just wants to stay crooked so bad haha. I thought that with that lateral bend, it would stay flat but nah.

Here's a pic of it running (not in the 90s tho):

The bad thing its that, with the I/O on the side, the cables get crushed :(

Looks like the motherboard is about to short out on the tray where it sags down.

The tray has a hole in the back and even if it sags, the cpu bracket (made of plastic) would sit on the psu, then it shouldn't sag anymore, I hope haha...
