Is this parts list good? [UPDATED]

This is a parts list for a budget pc that needs to game, edit, and stream movies well.

Tell me anything I need to add, remove, or replace to the parts list.

$500 BUDGET

That's a pretty tight budget build I'd say you are good. The darn RAM pricing, I'd say go for a single channel instead of dual 8GB, or go for a single channel 4GB stick and upgrade that later.

Go with 1x8GB rather than 2x4GB for future expansion.
Other than that it looks alright. The wifi card is pretty solid, I used that one in my PC for a few months until I ran ethernet, didn't have any issues with it that I can remember.

I'd try to squeeze in an i3 6100 or 7100 if possible, they're only about $30 more, though really a legit quad core CPU would be a much better idea. Perhaps switch over to Ryzen and get something like the Ryzen 3 1200 or 1300X instead? Might need to get a cheaper GPU if you go that route though.

Also, keep in mind that mail-in rebates aren't instant discounts, and could take several months for you to get your money back from them.

Specs: CPU - Intel i7 8700K @ 5GHz | GPU - Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming | Motherboard - ASUS Strix Z370-G WIFI AC | RAM - XPG Gammix DDR4-3000MHz 32GB (2x16GB) | Main Drive - Samsung 850 Evo 500GB M.2 | Other Drives - 7TB/3 Drives | CPU Cooler - Corsair H100i Pro | Case - Fractal Design Define C Mini TG | Power Supply - EVGA G3 850W

Thanks for the advice, the reason I am using 2 sticks for 8 gb of RAM is because when you have it spread out it increases the speed. I can still upgrade it that's why I chose a motherboard with 4 slots. My goal is to have 16 gb (4x4) later, which I think will really boost the system.

Thank you. Although I have been told that switching to an i3 will not make enough of a difference for 30 bucks. I think that I will research 8 gb sticks but I like where I am now.
