PC shuts off during Windows 10 update

I was updating Windows 10 just now and it got to roughly 20% and suddenly my PC shut off. I'm thinking its because of my CPU overheating (i7-7700k) considering it does run fairly hot.

PC:

i7-7700k

NZXT x52

Gigabyte 1080ti Xtreme Edition

Asus Strix Z270-E
