help Bootloop after BIOS update

I updated my motherboard BIOS (which is a P67H2-A3) and now it won't boot. I followed the guide step by step. (http://www.ecs.com.tw/extra/windows_8_support/intel_win8_biosupgrade.html) I can't even enter BIOS settings.

If you mean the CMOS battery I have already tried to no avail.

It may sound stupid but I was having trouble making a new graphics card work (literally tried everything) and I read somewhere that updating the BIOS could do it. Also I was planning to buy an ivy bridge processor and it can only be supported after updating the BIOS (currently Sandy bridge). I thought I'd kill two birds with one stone but the only thing I ended up killing was my motherboard.

ahh ya, i thought about using ivy on my z77, if taking out the battery didn't work, then that's probably bricked, sorry to hear that man.
