Hello. I am a beginner at pc building and I would like your advice. Any amount of help is highly appreciated.

I built my pc with the supervision of my cousin, but I had to do the cable management myself. Since I'm completely new, of course my cables wouldn't look as pretty as others' and especially considering the fact that Cooler Master Masterbox Lite 3 isn't really a beginner friendly case. I'm wondering if my cable management here is at least enough for good airflow?

I have an exhaust fan at the back and an intake fan at the front. My gpu is placed at the bottom of the case and its fans are facing the case floor. Though there are a few holes at the bottom of the case, I was wondering if this might pose a problem with the gpu temperature.

I tried running Witcher 3 on ultra settings with hairworks off at 1080p for about 15 mins. My gpu's max temperature reached around 82c. I've read that those temperatures aren't really deadly for the gpu but it seems lower is still recommended.

Should I save up for a better case? One that has a little more space for cable management and not having the gpu direct hot air towards the case floor? Or am I making the wrong assumptions and should save up for another case fan for intake instead?

the problem is that you have too beeft of a cooler on there really, which is extremely funny IMO. anyway cable management dosent really hurt airflow much, and espcially not with that little clutter, id get a ziptie and bunch them up though just because it takes 20 secs and will make it look a lot better

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

you have a two and a half slot card, where as the standard is two slots in PCI spaces, this leaves the fan too little room to breathe. so while the cooler is probably great, it cant get enough air in and its getting choked by the floor panel. you could try manually increaseing the fan RPM using something like MSI afterburner and see if that gets the temps under controll

I see. Thanks for the suggestion. If this doesn't work, would you recommend buying a new case?

Thanks for the response. What about the gpu temperature?

If anything, I'd just toss another 120mm fan in the front on intake duty to give yourself a little positive pressure in the case.

Also, does your case sit on carpet?  I don't see how the front intake fans are getting their air except maybe at the bottom of the front case shroud.  That *could* be part of your issue if you're not getting enough intake air.

well the Masterbox 3 is a nice case IMO, but something like an ATX midtower would work like the Masterbox 5 or something.

It sits on tile floor currently until I set up an appropriate table. Thanks, I might try removing the front panel and see how the temperature goes.
