A few friends made this twitter bot which generates 'flames' based on what is popular from the other posts. They look really cool and are really good as screensavers and desktop backgrounds. They're somewhat low resolution, but are good for a phone or other such device. It's really cool and I think you guys would like it :)

Wallpaper engine is also a nice option for cool backgrounds. Video's as your background, or scenes, or whatever you want that moves :P

If you want my attention, quote meh! D: or just stick an @samcool55 in your post :3

I think he should also make flames that behave like regular flames, that come from the bottom :D

I'm one of the developers of PyroBot.

The art is generated by the FLAM3 algorithm, which is why they're called flames (I'm not sure why it's called FLAM3). The art is automatically generated based on what gets upvoted, so I don't have any control over what comes out. (Well, I could force it to use ones I want, but that would take all the fun out of it!)

Thanks for everybody's interest!

With regards to @Gadget_Man1's comment about low resolution, I'm happy to render any of them at a higher quality and any resolution you want, as long as I don't get inundated with requests.

I don't do much other than coding, so it's not like I'm using my CPU for anything else :)

@PolarZ I like the idea of being able to see what tweets are combined. Shouldn't be too hard to implement either.

For the Tweet quality, each image takes about 30s-1min, though it depends on the image. For higher qualities it usually takes about 5 min.

FLAME = FLAM3 where E reversed to 3.
